Plenty of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have raved over a post from Tim Spiers as the journalist relayed information from The Telegraph writer James Ducker about the Europa League on his official Twitter page.

Ducker writes that the UEFA Europa League final in Gdansk, Poland has been provisionally earmarked for August 26th, with the Champions League final scheduled for three days later.

The Wanderers' last game in the competition was the 1-1 draw against Olympiacos away in Greece over a month ago, with Pedro Neto scoring what could turn out to be a crucial equaliser against the ten men, who opened the scoring through Youssef El Arabi, as per Sky Sports.

The second leg is yet to be played but WWFC supporters may be silently confident with an away goal that they can finish the job at Molineux and progress through to the next round.
