A plethora of Wolverhampton Wanderers followers took to Twitter to share their memories of their victory over Cardiff City after archive footage emerged online.
ClassicWolves shared a video clip of the two penalties that the Bluebirds had to try and take a share of the points away from the Old Gold, however John Ruddy stepped up to be the hero on the first occasion before the crossbar helped them with the second kick.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side would go on to take all three points courtesy of a Ruben Neves free-kick earlier in the second half and effectively all-but-seal their place in the Premier League for the next campaign (per BBC).
Upon seeing the footage and reliving the moments they produced, many of the Wolves faithful took to Twitter to share their immediate reactions to the clip.
One supporter mentioned it was the maddest thing they had witnessed, whilst others stated it was quality, that it never gets old and one even went as far to say it was spine-tingling.
