Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reminiscing over their victory against Manchester United in the FA Cup, which took place a year ago on Monday.
Goals fr0m Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez across just six second-half minutes ensured that the Midlands outfit made it to their first FA Cup semi-final in over 21 years (via BBC). It was a game Nuno Espirito Santo’s side seem to have control of from start to finish, having more shots on goal (17), on target (7) and more corners (10) despite having less possession of the ball (via BBC).
One fan called it ‘one of the best games’ he’d been to.
Easily one of the best games I’ve been too at Wolves, what a night. https://t.co/nbD7OjmUlv

The victory was part of a stunning campaign for Wolves, who in their first season back in the top-flight managed to finish seventh in the Premier League and reach the FA Cup semi-final. Supporters were full of good memories after they were reminded of the famous win against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets:
If you hear that screech that sounds like a cat bring swung that’s me, I was waving the flag and sat right in front of the microphone 😂👋
