Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans show love towards Nuno Espirito Santo after news emerges

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were showing love towards Nuno Espirito Santo after some news emerged about the coach’s feelings toward media engagements for the tie against Olympiacos.
The club confirmed that the entire squad and staff have been placed on ‘lockdown’ and will not fulfil their pre and post-match duties with the media. This is a move that could anger UEFA with protocols stating a club needs to provide their coach and a player for the press conference before a fixture. Rules also say that members of the squad and the manager must be made available to the TV and written press after the game (via The Sun).

The decision to allow the fixture to be played angered the club, who put out a strong statement asking the governing body to postpone the game. However, their plea fell on deaf ears as UEFA rejected the request. Supporters were over the moon with the actions of their manager as they took to Twitter to react. Here are a selection of tweets:
