Loads of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are in agreement by suggesting that Ruben Neves could be a 'future captain' of the club after a Twitter post from Talking Wolves emerged.

The tweet asked supporters who they think will go on to play for the side for the next 10 years, and many fans chose Neves, whilst also adding that he could be the captain of the club in the future. Amongst the other nominees were Adama Traore and Pedro Neto but it was the central midfield player who won the majority of supporter's hearts.

Indeed, the Portuguese international has already experienced captaincy despite only being the tender age of 23. He was youngest player to lead a team out in the Champions League, when he captained FC Porto against Maccabi Tel-Aviv at the age of just 18, according to The Daily Mail.

Neves has racked up 125 appearances for the Wanderers in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and making seven assists, as per Transfermarkt. He has also notched up 16 senior international caps for Portugal.

These WWFC fans think the midfielder could be a 'future captain' at the club after reading the post:
