Former Premier League striker Darren Bent thinks Wolves should be worried about their key players being targeted by other clubs.
Speaking to Football Insider, Bent revealed that he fears that Nuno’s side could be dismantled if they keep performing at a high level.
Has Adama Traore been Wolves' best player this season?
Wolves currently sit fifth in the Premier League, with only Liverpool suffering fewer defeats than their two.
Goals from Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez were enough to give them victory over Bournemouth, meaning they are now above Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham in the table.
Bent said: “The only worry Wolves have got at the minute is that teams could come in and nick their players like; Jimenez, Moutinho, Neves, Jota, these guys as they have some good players who are producing the goods.
“Moutinho was sensational yesterday, his goal was great and another good result for Wolves. The free-kick was a joke as well, it was incredible.
The club has made strides to try and ensure there isn’t an exodus of talent, by tying Joao Moutinho down to a new contract.
The 33-year-old has made 67 appearances for the club since joining from Monaco in 2018 and his current deal was set to expire in the summer.
His new contract runs until the summer of 2022, when he will be 36.
Still, it’s not hard to see where Bent is coming from. If Jimenez keeps scoring and Ruben Neves maintains the level he is playing at, with the 22-year-old attracting interest from both Manchester clubs last season, then Wolves could have quite the dilemma on their hands.
