Wolves cruised through to the play-off round of the Europa League after a 4-0 win over FC Pyunik at Molineux last night completed an 8-0 aggregate triumph over the Armenian side.
The scoring was rounded off in sumptuous style late on by Diogo Jota, who finished with an acrobatic volley after a deft ball over the top from Raul Jimenez, and Wolves’ official Twitter channel posted a clip of the goal.

It was the 22-year-old forward’s second goal of the European campaign, having also found the net in the 2-0 win over Crusaders that began the continental journey, and he already has five assists in Wolves’ four Europa League matches thus far.
After finishing last season with 10 goals and seven assists in all competitions, Jota seems well on course to surpass those figures in 2019/20 if he can maintain his early season form.
Indeed, the Portuguese attacker may feel that his tally for the campaign should be even higher after missing two good chances in last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Leicester and failing to score from three attempts in total at the King Power Stadium.
However, he made amends with his excellent finish last night and these Wolves fans took to Twitter to applaud Jota’s strike:
