Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans buzz as image of Temur Ketsbaia shirt emerges - Wolves

Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been buzzing as an image from The Wolf Whistle Podcast on their Twitter page emerged of an old shirt belonging to former player Temur Ketsbaia.

The tweet claims that it was match worn and also asked whether supporters remember the rocket of a free kick that he scored against Sheffield Wednesday in 2000.

As per the club’s official website, the ex-Georgian striker put Wolves ahead with a bullet from 25 yards on his Molineux debt following a well-worked routine before the Owls struck back to claim a point. That was one of four strikes from Ketsbaia at Wolves, where he made 29 appearances in gold and black having arrived from Newcastle United ahead of the 2000/01 season.

Wolves supporters can test their knowledge by naming the other players that made up the team on Wednesday 13th August 2000 here.
