Wolves’ recent form has meant they’re in a good position to earn European football again next season, and that could open the door to an exciting crop of potential signings. They’re now in sixth and, according to The Telegraph, manager Nuno Espírito Santo is keen to bring in improvements to bolster his squad.
The report says Wolves are joining the race for in-form Red Bull Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan. In the Champions League this season, he’s bagged three goals and made five assists in six games, and has a remarkable 14 assists in all competitions this term.
The Telegraph said the move is more likely to happen in the summer than in January, but the club are prepared to swoop in when the time is right.
He scored at Anfield when his side faced Liverpool, and watching him has clearly got Wolves fans excited now they’ve been linked with him. After the story was published, fans were quick to jump onto Twitter to show just how pleased they’d be to see the 23-year-old playing at Molineux.
