However, he has started Wolves’ two most recent Europa League matches, both against Slovan Bratislava, and he cut an impressive figure in those two games.
In the 2-1 win in Slovakia last month, he won four aerial duels (the most of anyone on the pitch) and two tackles, as well as having 56 accurate passes out of 63 for an 88.9% success rate. [via WhoScored]
In the return fixture at Molineux, he again led the way for aerial duels by winning four, while also having two shots and completing 68 out of 75 passes for a 90.7% success rate. [via WhoScored]

Starter for me, after watching him play in person even off the ball he looks calm and collected, works well next coady

Never mind his performance, for such a young and inexperienced lad he shows composure that of a veteran. Very very promising and a huge credit to both the scouting staff and coaching team. Full proof of our future prowess and ambition 🤙🏼🐺🧡🖤

Against Bratislava I was impressed cool calm collected he made it look easy will be interesting to see his progression and also to see him play against better attacking teams.

His performance against Bratislava was a massive jump forward for him. Played a little like Bennett for the first hour, calm composure & simple percentage passes, then as confidence grew, switched to dealing with attackers in the Boly type way! He could yet be some player.
