Wolves’ Adama Traore came in for high praise from Express & Star writer Tim Spiers after the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Monday night, with the journalist expressing his thoughts on Twitter via @tim_spiers_Star.
Spiers was highly complimentary of Traore’s attitude, saying that he has been very willing to learn from others at the club and noting that the Spain under-21 international was kept at Molineux while Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro were allowed to leave on loan for the season.
Really impressed with Traore's attitude. Ask his team mates and they'll say the same – he's a very keen learner. Costa and Cav dispensed with but Nuno sees something in Traore worth persevering with. For what it's worth I totally agree. A unique talent. Watch him fly now.

Traore, who replaced Matt Doherty at half-time on Monday night, was Wolves’ best player in that game in the eyes of Spiers’ Express & Star colleague Joe Edwards, who described it as “his best display for Wolves so far” and said that he “barely put a foot wrong after coming on“.
He has started three of Wolves’ four Europa League qualifiers so far, though, and could be in contention to make the first XI for tomorrow night’s match against Torino in Italy following his display on Monday.
These Wolves fans have been quite impressed by Traore and feel that he could have a very strong season:
Almost has the ideal mix of Cav power and Costa tricks and skills… and finally more consistency on the end product Also well done to the fans for recognising his efforts – I think he’ll get better the more we get behind him and vice versa !

If he Carrie’s on like yesterday he can expect a call up to the Spanish team.

You probably hit the nail on the head by saying a full preseason under Nuno has done him good. You can see he’s slowly becoming a player who isn’t just “pace, pace, pace” and is working into a team. Just needs the end product on a consistent basis! Looks good, though.

No other player like him, and Nuno knows how to develop him ..

I felt he changed the game for us last night. This is a big season for him and am confident he will be a success for us.

Think it had more to do with the 18 million we parted with to secure his services….. we have to persevere with him, and it is paying off now an absolutely wonderful 2nd half from him last night lets hope there is more to come
