Wolves were able to salvage a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United in another game where Diogo Jota struggled to make an impact.
Matt Doherty cancelled out Lys Mousset’s early opener to complete the scoring and give the home side a point. Raul Jimenez was the man to set up Doherty after his delightful cross was nodded home by the defender.
Jimenez’s form is in stark contrast to Jota’s, with the 22-year-old failing to provide a single assist in the Premier League all season. As well as that, he only has one league goal to his name this term.
Indeed, it has not been the greatest of starts to the campaign for Jota, with the draw against Chris Wilder’s side epitomising that. He has yet to reach the heights of Jimenez and Adama Traore so far.
According to SofaScore, the Portuguese attacker failed to register a single shot on goal and lost possession of the ball 18 times in that clash versus the Blades.
Jota will be hoping for a much better outing when Wolves take on West Ham next this Wednesday.
Take a look at what Wolves fans have been saying about Jota below…
Take Jota off. Taking his place for granted and not delivered.

Not good enough, we gonna have to match them in a 3-5-2 and take Jota off.

We’ve hit December and Diogo Jota still hasn’t turned up. Leaving it an extra month each year are we Diogo?

Take the point and move on.. a good side beats us easy today. We were very poor. Jota needs benching, his performances aren’t good enough. Kilman our best player for me !
