Wolves: Fans react as Tim Spiers delivers injury update on Ruben Vinagre

Taking to Twitter last night, the Athletic’s Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers reported that Wolves’ Ruben Vinagre should return to action soon after missing the last month of action with a hamstring injury. Indeed, after the Portuguese was taken off during January’s FA Cup loss to Manchester United, manager Nuno described his absence as a ‘massive blow’ (per the Express and Star) but Spiers suggests that a return could be reasonably imminent.
Ruben Vinagre should be back involved before long. He's out training again at Compton #WWFC

Believed to be training again, the 20-year-old trails only Adama Traore and Joao Moutinho – both of whom couldn’t start against Leicester City on Friday night due to injury – when it comes to crosses attempted per match (0.7, per WhoScored), suggesting the Old Gold could be in for more natural width as a result. Given the fact Wolves win on average 20.8 aerial duels per match (the ninth-highest in the division), that could be a real threat going into the business end of competitions both on these shores and abroad.
With that in mind, here’s a look at how fans reacted to Spiers’ update on Twitter.

Fair play to him, but it's a bit late.

Did the injury affect his ability to do loads and loads and loads of stepovers?
