Dzyuba’s equaliser for Russia on Friday night was his 21st goal in 37 caps for Russia, with the 31-year-old striker boasting 56 goals in 148 appearances for current club Zenit St. Petersburg. He has played for five Russian clubs in his career but none outside of his home country.
Riafan reported [via Birmingham Live] that he left a positive impression on scouts from not just Wolves, but also Everton and Crystal Palace, who reportedly had assigned scouts to watch the player, who is 6 ft 7 (1.97m) tall.
Riafan added [via Birmingham Live] that Dzyuba recently signed up to Jorge Mendes’ Gestifute agency, which represents Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo and players Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota, Joao Moutinho, Rui Patricio and Pedro Neto.

31 years old. Wouldn’t have thought this would be a player we would go after. We didn’t go for Rondom cause of his age and he was younger.

As much as I love our progression as a club I do wonder. Haven’t we got any scouts in the U.K.? Surely there is talent here at home.
