Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho yesterday celebrated his 33rd birthday, with the club’s official Twitter channel @Wolves acknowledging the occasion.

The 115-cap Portugal international joined Wolves from Monaco in July 2018 for a reported fee of around £5m, according to BBC, and has been an established presence in the team throughout his time at Molineux.

Moutinho also played in all six of Wolves’ matches in their run to the FA Cup semi-finals last season, as well as featuring in every match of their Europa League qualifying campaign in recent weeks.

The 33-year-old midfielder scored one goal and provided eight assists in his first season at the club and already has five assists in this campaign. [via TransferMarkt.co.uk]
