Some Wolves fans are hoping to see Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips play in gold and black in the next campaign.
The 24-year-old is being linked with a move to Molineux by Football Insider and that has excited several supporters. All things considered, it is not hard to see why.
He is one of the standout holding midfielders in the Championship, averaging just under three tackles per game this term (per WhoScored). That leaves Phillips in the top 10 for that statistic when it comes to division regulars.
Can Wolves keep hold of Raul Jimenez?
The Englishman also averages 56.6 passes per game, similar to what the likes of Joao Moutinho (52) and Ruben Neves (50.8) are averaging at Wolves. As well as all of that, Phillips can also play in defence, so Nuno Espirito Santo could make really good use of him.
It is no surprise that one supporter said he could be a “good squad player”. Take a look at what else is being said about the Leeds man below…
