Wolves are flying high at the moment, with three wins from four going into Sunday’s game against Brighton. Fans have had chance to look back on some of the goals their side scored last month when the club posted their Goal of the Month competition, and one strike in particular stood out for many supporters.
Is the Wolves project more appealing than Arsenal's?
Joao Moutinho’s curled free-kick from the right side of the box and into the top left corner away at Bournemouth had fans swooning, and it wasn’t a bad effort for his only goal so far this season! The Portuguese midfielder has featured in every game so far this term and has made four assists in that time too, but this goal was surely the highlight of his season so far.
The club’s official Twitter account posted a video compilation of all the goals up for the award, including some strikes from the youth team too, but plenty of fans thought Moutinho’s stood out from the crowd and they were quick to reply and compliment his superb goal.
💥 Jimenez, Traore, Neves, Moutinho…
