Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers would be forgiven if they were still celebrating their success this season! Qualifying for Europa League football in their first campaign back in the Premier League is some going!

Wolves' success in the top-flight will have been encouraging and they will have every chance of going as far as possible in the tournament if they can replicate their performances.

However, with the competition added to their schedule next year, it would certainly be wise for Nuno Espirito Santo and the Fosun International group to look to try and bring in some additions that would go a long way towards helping them to achieve great things.

Wolves are currently thin in certain areas and you would only have to look at Burnley's efforts in the competition earlier in the season to see what happens with a rather limited squad and the effects it can have on the whole campaign.

And, it would seem they have a classy candidate on their shortlist that could help to bolster the central midfield and provide some additional creativity to their side.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Wolves are interested in signing Real Betis' Victor Camarasa this summer after an impressive campaign with Cardiff City.

The playmaker managed to provide five goals and four assists for the Bluebirds in the top-flight and the Spanish outfit are considering whether to let him go out on a temporary deal once again or offload him permanently.

Blessed with exceptional quality, Camarasa would provide the likes of Ruben Neves, Leander Dendoncker, Joao Moutinho and Morgan Gibbs-White with some competition for places in the team.

Valued at £5.4million by Transfermarkt, the Spaniard is an excellent crosser of the ball and could provide Raul Jimenez with an additional creative outlet; one that the Mexican could thrive upon.

Camarasa is also the type of player that Nuno would love to have in his team. The midfielder likes to get back and help out his team-mates with their defensive duties as much as he likes to do all the attractive work going forward.

Thus, if Wolves do decide that they want to bring Camarasa to Molineux, they will need to act quickly as the Daily Mail claim the likes of West Ham United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton are all keen on securing the 24-year-old's signature.
