Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are crossing all their fingers and toes today, after hearing a world-class target is growing increasingly keen on a Premier League switch.
The Daily Mail states long-term Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski is increasingly keen on a move to the Premier League and the world-class forward is becoming more and more unsettled at Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski, who has starred in Bavaria since moving from Borussia Dortmund two-years ago, is currently on European Championship duty with Poland, drawing 0-0 with Germany yesterday as he came up against a number of his team-mates from Bayern.
27-year-old Lewandowski is currently in talks with the serial Bundesliga champions regarding a new contract but has told close friends he’s willing to listen to offers from elsewhere. However, his favoured move would be to Real Madrid.
A problem for Lewandowski is that, for the striker to move to the Santiago Bernabeu, star names currently at the club would have to leave and our landlord believes that’s not yet forthcoming.
United fans, do you have any genuine chance of signing Lewandowski? Let us know in the comments below!
