Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are nervous heading into the summer after the Guardian revealed that Hugo Lloris will consider his future at White Hart Lane.
The publication claims that the world-class goalkeeper could be seen as a replacement for David De Gea at Manchester United, should he depart Old Trafford this summer.
The French star is considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and with Spurs set to miss out on the Champions League again, the 28-year-old may look for an exit.
This has left some Spurs fanatics in the Tavern confused because it was only in July when the Frenchman signed a five-year contract.
But Lloris made it clear to Daniel Levy that he will commit his future to the club but he wants to play in the Champions League.
And if Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy cannot give him this part of the deal, it is expected he will look for another club.
Lloris joined from Lyon in 2012 and is still yet to play in the Champions League for Spurs and he knows that there is a strong possibility that the North London club could miss out on the competition again next year.
