World Cup dream should force two Liverpool into double transfer deal this January – Agreed?

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been mesmerised by some of their sides attacking performances of late…

Jurgen Klopp’s side have really started to turn on the style in recent weeks with a number of dazzling attacking performances. Manchester City may have stolen a march at the top of the table, but if Liverpool can continue replicating their recent form throughout the season, they will certainly give The Citizens a run for their money during this campaign.

The dazzling displays of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and of course Mo Salah have been instrumental to the club’s success in recent weeks.

And the performances of the aforementioned players have been one of the contributing factors to Danny Ings’ exile from Klopp’s first-team plans so far this season.

Considering Ings is yet to be selected for the first-team squad in the Premier League this season, it is no surprise that he has become a target for both Newcastle United and West Ham according to The Guardian.

Ings has endured a torrid couple of seasons at Liverpool since his arrival from Burnley in 2015, and the English international must do everything he can to save his career by forcing through a loan move in January.

Liverpool should also allow fellow England international Daniel Sturridge to seek a loan move away from the club in January.

A move would be in the best interests of all parties considering Sturridge’s lack of game time this season.

Sturridge has only managed 5 starts in the Premier League so far and has largely played second fiddle to Firmino.

With the World Cup in Russia little over 6 months away, Liverpool should allow Sturridge to seek a move away from the club in a bid to gain regular first-team football.

With Firmino, Solanke, Salah and Mane at the club, Liverpool have plenty of options up-front to ensure the departure of Sturridge will not negatively impact on their season.
