Everton fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting very excited as they could ditch Roberto Martinez and get one of the best managers on the international stage.
As reported in the Mirror, Germany’s international boss Joachim Low would be open to taking the hot seat at Goodison Park.
The Toffees have divided opinion in the Tavern under Martinez this season, with many punters admiring their open style play, whilst it’s clear to see this has led them to being very exposed defensively.
A reflection of this, is that Romelu Lukaku is the fourth-highest goalscorer in the Premier League (18 goals) but Everton lie in 11th place, having conceded 49 goals, which is more than Crystal Palace and Watford.
But now Everton’s new chairman Farhad Moshiri has a big decision to make regarding Martinez’s future.
Because although Low recently signed a two-year deal with Germany, there is a clause in his contract which allows him to talk to interested clubs.
