World’s best likely to snub Man United for Paris Saint-Germain

Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are getting fed-up with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, after more suggestions the Ligue 1 leaders will win the race for a prime Louis Van Gaal target.

Spanish football expert Graham Hunter told BBC Radio 5 Live that he believes Cristiano Ronaldo is more likely to move to France than return to the Premier League, should he ever leave Real Madrid.

“The Manchester United that Cristiano Ronaldo fell in love with has completely gone. Cristiano’s time of being in the elite three, four, five in the world is dwindling. He will need to be looking at winning things. Is that a guarantee at Manchester United? No.”

Despite being under contract in the Spanish capital until 2018, there is increasing suggestions that Ronaldo will call-time on his spell with Los Blancos next summer and seek a new challenge.

Whilst United desperately want to bring Ronaldo, who left Old Trafford in 2009, back to the Premier League it appears that Van Gaal’s dream will end in disappointment.
