‘Would be a perfect partner for Kante’ – Chelsea fans are loving latest transfer report

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that a few players will move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Despite the fact that, technically, a top-four finish is still possible, and that the FA Cup final is still on the horizon – most would agree that the Blues have been disappointing this season.

Antonio Conte seems to have lost his way a bit, and unfortunately, that’s led to a downturn in results for the club.

This summer, then, will be crucial for the Blues. They cannot afford another season like this one, and so in order to make up ground on Man City, they need to spend big.

Fortunately, according to The Times, they appear to be willing to do that. The Times is reporting that the club are amongst a number of teams interested in midfielder Jorginho, and significantly, the player apparently believes that i Maurizio Sarri moves to Stamford Bridge, he thinks that the manager would be keen on bringing him to London as well.

Whilst certainly, a move for Jorginho will require a lot of pieces to move into place, it’s clear that the Chelsea faithful over on Reddit are feeling pretty excited.

They’ve been discussing just how Jorginho would fit into this team, and with a few noting the role he could have next to N’Golo Kante, fans are clearly hoping to see it happen.
