Yannick Bolasie could make a return to Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace could be about to bring one of their former players back to Selhurst Park this summer.

The Eagles have completed some great business during the transfer window so far, with the likes of Max Meyer and Cheikhou Kouyate already joining the ranks and improving the midfield.

Vicente Guaita has also joined the club to given them some added competition to the goalkeeper spot, however, Roy Hodgson could be concerned with his attacking options, especially from the wide areas.

With The Daily Mirror claiming that Wilfried Zaha wants to leave following the interest from Chelsea, the former England boss will need to ensure that he either keeps the Ivorian or brings in a suitable replacement before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

And, according to a report in The Guardian, he could look to one of the club’s former stars as Yannick Bolasie has been told he is surplus to requirements at Everton as they continue their clear-out.

The Verdict:

Bolasie was a huge favourite at Crystal Palace during his time at the club and would be welcomed back with open arms.

Despite being a first-team regular during his previous spell with the Eagles, it is unlikely that he would be guaranteed a place once again, especially if Palace do keep hold of Zaha.

However, the Democratic Republic of Congo international could be keen on returning to south London this summer considering his future in Merseyside is bleak.
