Everton will be reeling after being dumped out of the FA Cup following a 3-2 win defeat to Millwall on Saturday.
The pressure is surely starting to build onto Marco Silva’s shoulders after a rather disappointing run of form as the club continue to underachieve.
And, it appears one Everton man wants to quit Goodison Park this month.
According to a report by TeamTALK, Yannick Bolasie has ‘told’ Silva that he wants to join a Premier League side in the January transfer window.
The winger, who originally joined Aston Villa on a temporary deal in the summer, returned to the club after an unsuccessful time in the Midlands.
The 29-year-old, who cost the club around £26million in the summer of 2016, per Transfermarkt, is thought to have plenty of options with former club Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Burnley and Cardiff City all keen on him.
Bolasie clearly is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park under Silva and it makes sense for him to leave the club in January.
The 29-year-old has failed to replicate the form that he showed during his time at Crystal Palace and has been blighted with injuries during his time at Everton.
With a number of Premier League clubs rumoured to be keen in the Democratic Republic of Congo international, it should not be too difficult for him to get his wish this month.
