Tactics is something that rarely gets talked about with any real accuracy here in this boozy Transfer Tavern, as most punters are usually a little too tipsy! However, the reports coming in from the Daily Star today are causing a real stir, and provoking many of the City lads to discuss formations amongst themselves.
The Daily Star are reporting about how Yaya Toure feels the club’s summer signings will affect his performance.
Our landlord here in the Tavern feels the 32-year-old is a pivotal man still for the Manchester club, a fan favourite, who after a slightly underwhelming campaign last term looks back to his mercurial best this season.
They are running the thoughts from Toure, that since Pellegrini splashed the cash this summer on powerful attacking options in the form of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, it means they no longer need his attacking prowess in the side.
Our resident City fans feel that Yaya is one of the club’s best players, and more often that not, when he plays well, the whole Manchester City team play well.
What do you make of this City Fans? Surely you still need his goals? Let us know below!
