Yet another striker being earmarked for an exit from Anfield

Origi.jpgAfter another disappointing weekend which has seen Liverpool fail to pick up three points for the fourth consecutive Premier League game, the Reds fans have been spending a bit more time then usual over by the bar here in the Transfer Tavern today.

The Liverpool squad looks low on confidence and its hard to see where the next win will come from. Despite this, the Mirror is reporting via reports in Belgium, that striker Divock Origi could be sent out on loan again.

Liverpool reportedly rejected an enquiry from Fenerbahce to take Origi on loan during the summer transfer window, as Rodgers looked to involve him into his first team plans. However the situation seems to have changed and Origi could now be set for a loan move in January.

Some Liverpool fans here over by the pool table in the Transfer Tavern are bemused by this news. After their side’s inability to win games they think the team should be mixed up a bit, and Origi should be given more of a chance by Brendan Rodgers.

Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke and Danny Ings are all ahead of Origi in the pecking order at Anfield which has limited his opportunities at the club. The Belgian has made only one Premier League appearance this season, playing just 16 minutes. And was left out of the Reds’ squad to face Norwich on Sunday.

Liverpool fans…… Do you think Origi should leave Anfield or be given more of a chance by Rodgers? What do you think Rodgers should do to change the fortunes of your club? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
