Young Aston Villa exile determined to rebuild trust with manager

Jack GrealishThe Aston Villa fans in the Transfer Tavern will be feeling slightly better about the reputation of one of their young stars after reading reports revealing his determination to get back on the Villa boss’ good side.

Reports from the Mirror have indicated that Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish is attending extra training sessions in a bid to improve the relationship between himself and new boss, Remi Garde.

Grealish faces a second week exiled from the first-team due to the 20-year-old attacking midfielder being pictured out nightclubbing after Villa’s 4-0 thrashing to Everton a couple of weeks ago and Remi Garde has been laying down the law ever since.

The midfielder has been training with the development squad ever since and, although Garde has not yet finalised the squad for the Premier League clash with Southampton, Grealish is unlikely to return to first-team action.

Villa’s first team squad returned to training on Tuesday but Grealish continues to be punished for his controversial behaviour by continuing his training with the younger players, despite the fact Villa need top-class players to save themselves from relegation.

Grealish has responded by doing an extra shift at training and attending a Junior Villains event at Dudley Zoo last Sunday in a bid to help the club and redeem himself, though it seems it will be a long road to forgiveness.

Villa fans, has Jack Grealish been punished enough for his irresponsible actions and should he be allowed to return to the first-team? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
