The transfer window may have slammed shut but the Football Transfer Tavern is still open because you are never that far away from a deal.
And according to talkSPORT, many of Europe’s richest clubs have already been put on high alert for the 2015/16 campaign after Barcelona revealed that one of their star players would be moving on next summer.
That man is Daniel Alves after both parties agreed that this would be his last season with the Catalan club meaning that his contract will not be renewed.
Alves has been at the club since 2008 but next summer he will be free to move to any club that can match his wages with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain already linked.
It remains to be seen over the next few months who fancies adding the Brazilian international to their ranks but Barcelona’s sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has confirmed the move.
He said: “We are very happy that Dani Alves has stayed here this season.
“But both sides have agreed that his contract will finish in 2015.”
