Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern really just want this season to be over with after another terrible result at the weekend.

The Gunners really have no hope now, even if they are still in the FA Cup at the semi-final stage, and the loss against West Brom really has just rubbed salt into the wounds.

What they need to do, then, many feel, is completely tear things up in the summer and start again and that could begin with midfielder Naby Keita.

According to German outlet Bild, Arsene Wenger has joined the race for the Red Bull Leipzig player and so we perhaps could see a move sooner rather than later.

Certainly, Keita would add something different to Arsenal’s midfield at the moment with him a real box-to-box player possessing both great attacking and defensive ability.

That was the aim, of course, of signing Granit Xhaka but that really hasn’t worked out thus far with the Swiss international more interested in kicking people up in the air than getting Arsenal up the table.

Thoughts on this potential move, Gunners fans? Let us know below!
