It was a rather wonderful night for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern.

Indeed, the Blues in our bar are still dancing on the pool tables in celebration following their 6-0 thumping of Qarabag upon their return to the Champions League last night.

One man crucial to their success last night was summer signing, Davide Zappacosta. Making his home debut, the summer signing fired one of their six goals in from 35 yards last night, much to the delight of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Though not a huge amount was known about the Italian prior to his arrival in west London, he certainly got acquainted with his new fans last night on his fist game in the Champions League for his new charges.

Now, he’s taken to Twitter to show he and the Stamford Bridge support celebrating his goal, crowning the moment as ‘amazing’ after the Blues ran out easy winners.

Though Victor Moses is a hugely popular figure in our bar, he certainly has a battle on his hands to start as a right-wing back, it seems.

Thoughts?
