There’s not been much to moan about for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Taven this season, though some problems definitely remain the topic of discussion.

The difficulties young players face in making it into the first-team are often lamented by the Blues in the bar, so many of our west London locals aren’t surprised to see a talented youngster today touted for an exit.

According to the Daily Mail, Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig are keen on a move for Dominic Solanke as they attempt to continue their exciting recruitment drive. The 19-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Scottish giants Celtic after struggling to break into the first-team and is reportedly on the radar in east Germany.

Undoubtedly a talented youngster, the Chelsea fans in the bar would hate to see Solanke leave so soon into his career, though would understand should he seek first-team football elsewhere.

Still, while they’d understand him leaving, the idea of moving to east Germany is somewhat bizarre and not really something young English talents have done over the years.

Thoughts?
