The problems young players face in their attempts to try and break into the Chelsea first-team are lamented both often and loudly around the bar in the Transfer Tavern.

While Antonio Conte has restored the Blues as champions of English football, there’s little doubt that burgeoning talent struggle to impose themselves onto first-team proceedings at Stamford Bridge.

Still, the club continue to produce some of the most talented teenagers in the country and reports from the Daily Mail only lend themselves further to that particular notion.

They claim Chelsea are ALREADY fielding a host of loan enquiries from various Championship clubs in regards to exciting young forward Callum Hudson-Odoi. The England U17 international is making a name for himself at youth level for both club and country and is reportedly of interest to a number of clubs in the second tier.

He doesn’t even turn 17 until November, so it’s fair to say he’s done a lot of impressing in such a short career thus far. With that in mind, many of the west London locals believe a loan move could be the best thing for his development.

Thoughts?
