Crystal Palace should be considering 1 of these 2 managers if they do get relegated to the Championship

Roberto Di Matteo

Roberto Di Matteo enjoyed his best managerial spell at Stamford Bridge after winning the Champions League and FA Cup as caretaker manager, but has struggled in his two most recent jobs since his departure.

Indeed, the 47-year-old had a torrid time in his last managerial job at Aston Villa in the Championship, after being relived of his duties just 12 games into the season having seen them take up a position near the bottom. Although, this wasn’t entirely down to the faults of the manager with many players failing to produce under his guidance.

Therefore, Palace could look to offer Di Matteo a way back into football management, in the hope that he can replicate the success he showed during his days as Chelsea boss.
