Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern have certainly enjoyed this summer’s transfer window and it could get even better before it’s finished.

The men from Goodison Park have signed plenty of players over the market’s duration with the likes of Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford arriving for pretty substantial fees.

They seem to have bedded in nicely, too, with them winning at the weekend against Stoke and it seems as though Ronald Koeman is still looking to get after players before the window shuts.

Indeed, according to Turkish-football, the Blues are scouting Yusuf Yazici with the young star shining brightly for Turkish team Trabzonspor at the moment.

He could, then, be the next hot prospect to arrive at Goodison Park but it’s thought that Liverpool are also monitoring the player ahead of a potential move.

We could, then, be set for a Merseyside based battle in order to try and sign the attack minded player from his current Turkish club.

Landlord’s Verdict

It’s clear that Koeman is eager to build a side both for the present and the future, given the ages of most of the players he has signed this summer.

Yazici would surely fit into that plan, then, with him being only 20-years-old but he’ll have to act quickly and assertively to make sure he beats Liverpool to the punch.
