The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are loving life at the moment…

It has been a sensational start to the season for the Red Devils, and Jose Mourinho will surely be delighted. The manager has built one of Europe’s finest squads, and they’ve performed fantastically this term.

Fortunately for Man Utd, though, that squad could be about to get even better.

According to the Daily Star, Danny Rose has got his heart set on a move to Man Utd, and he would jump at the chance if the club were to make their move. Significantly, he is said to be a key target for Man Utd, and so Mourinho will undoubtedly be delighted.

Rose, though he hasn’t played since last season, is definitely one of Europe’s finest left-backs. He had really found his form prior to his injury, and that’s no doubt what has attracted Mourinho.

He’s rated at £25.2 million by Transfer Markt, and though Tottenham would likely demand more, he would be worth every penny.

Electric pace, defensive stability and a decent option going forward, Rose would fit in perfectly at Man Utd. Tottenham, though, won’t want to lose him.

Landlord’s Verdict

Rose would be a massive upgrade at Man Utd, though it could mean the end of Luke Shaw’s tenure at the club.

The Englishman has, of course, struggled since moving to Manchester, and so Mourinho may be keen to move on.

Rose would definitely be a good option – if the Red Devils can get a hold of him. His fitness issues may concern the Man Utd brass, but if you consider his past performances, there is no real need for concern.
