The Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted with the club’s performances of late and hope they’ve turned a corner under Jurgen Klopp. Indeed, our resident Reds are hoping for a strong showing both home and abroad between now and the end of the season while their team continues to develop.
Obviously, the major talking point on Merseyside right now has been the stunning form of Liverpool’s most exciting attacking trident in years. The likes of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane continue to thrill Kopites all over the world and the trio can certainly give any defence in the world something to think about.
However, there are other attackers on offer to the Anfield giants and some good news in regards to one of them has emerged. According to fitness expert Ben Dinnery on Twitter, Danny Ings has returned to training at Melwood after missing the club’s weekend win at home to West Ham United through illness.

With Daniel Sturridge having departed over the course of the January window, Ings is surely now considered the back-up to Firmino in the central striking role, so his return to training can only be considered a positive thing for Liverpool.
