Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a story in The Independent today, stating that Liverpool are considering a move for RB Leipzig’s electric forward, Timo Werner. Klopp’s side have already agreed a deal for Werner’s teammate, Naby Keita, to join Anfield next season and fans will be hoping that the German international can join Keita in moving to Merseyside.

Some of the Reds who have been propping our bar up are sceptical of the news though, as Werner has previously claimed that Manchester United would be his first choice move.
