These two Liverpool players surely must leave if Jack Wilshere joins the club this summer

Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping Jurgen Klopp can get some major signings in, in the summer to really have a go at winning the Premier League.

Liverpool reinforced the much-highlighted defence with the capture of Virgil van Dijk in the winter window, however in the summer, Klopp must go hard again if he is to push on for his first trophy at Anfield.

Reports are emerging in the pub of late, that Klopp is keen on reuniting Jack Wilshere with his former teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is thriving since his move north to Liverpool. Indeed, Wilshere is out of contract in the summer after still not agreeing to a new deal with the Gunners are offering, surely due to his glut of injuries in recent seasons.

So, hypothetically, if Wilshere was to join his former teammate at the Anfield revolution, our landlord believes that these TWO players must surely leave to make room for the England man…

Jordan Henderson

The club Captain is having an up and down season so far in the team and some of the Anfield faithful are calling for him to be dropped, while a section of the fans want to see him succeed.

Klopp may have to make a difficult decision if Wilshere was to arrive. Indeed, a midfield partnership of two former Gunners may be the new blood Liverpool need to push forward, while Henderson would take a back seat and inevitably move on in search of regular minutes.

Emre Can

Many of the reports have linked Can with a summer move to Juventus and this is a move away that should be on the cards regardless if Wilshere was to join. A move for the England man would see the links of Can drop down the pecking order, as Klopp aims to take the team in a different direction with different players pulling the strings.

Our regulars feel that Can has already burned some bridges by not confirming his loyalty and simply seeing out his contract and, after recent performances, should be allowed to depart.
