Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern firmly believe they are going to win a trophy this season – even if they look out of the Premier League title race.

Indeed, to be fair, every other side looks out of that race, too, bar Chelsea and so the other trophies on offer are surely going to be even more keenly fought over between now and May.

Certainly, City have a real chance at winning either the FA Cup or Champions League and should they do so they’ll be very eager to build on that with good signings in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, according to The Mirror, they have been put on red-alert in light of Joshua Kimmich apparently being unhappy at Bayern Munich at the moment.

The young versatile player is highly-regarded by many but has found playing time tough to get this season under Carlo Ancelotti.

That wasn’t the problem under Guardiola, though, and it seems that the Spanish manager could move to bring him to Manchester.

Kimmich certainly doesn’t seem happy, too, with him saying (via The Mirror🙂

“The fact is I’m not satisfied with it and I want to change it.”

Strong words from the youngster, then, and so a move could just be on.
