Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are excited to see some of their club legends take managerial jobs, as Ryan Giggs is the latest to enter the world of football management.

The Red Devils have the best of memories surrounding OBE holder Ryan Giggs, after his whole entire career was dedicated to 24 years of happiness with England’s most successful club. Indeed, our local residents still purr about the Welshman’s mesmerizing goal against Arsenal back in 1999, as many more incredible memories spring to mind when the 44-year-old’s involved. However, fans are now delighted to see that Giggs has made his first strides in his managerial career, as according to reports in the Sun, Ryan Giggs has approached close friend Tony Strudwick from Manchester United to join his backroom staff at Wales, with Paul Scholes and Albert Stuivenberg to become assistants.

Indeed, after being appointed as the Welsh national side’s manager back in January, Ryan Giggs has been busy recruiting staff to join him on his managerial journey. And, the 44-year-old has eyed a member of Sir Alex Ferguson’s former backroom staff, Tony Strudwick, as his head of performance, while seeking an Old Trafford reunion with Paul Scholes and Albert Stuivenberg joining the party.

Our local Red Devils here in the Tavern are loving what’s brewing over in Wales, as Giggs’ recruitment choices could see an extra interest coming from United fans. Indeed, a chance to see some of the club’s legends and old boys appear back in the game once again, as the Welsh are in for one hell of a treat if the United contingent are anywhere near as impressive on a managerial level.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Manchester United fans will love the way their former legend Ryan Giggs hasn’t forgotten about his former United acquaintances, as the Welshman looks to form some kind of reunion in Wales. Indeed, Ryan Giggs has been blessed with a managerial role for a country that he’s devoted his whole life to, and to now be given the chance to mix some old mates with the job is something that the 44-year-old will love.
