The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to see a vastly improved performance from their side when they face West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening.
Antonio Conte’s future has become the subject of intense speculation this week after his Chelsea side suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League for the second time this season. Not only were Chelsea defeated, but they were completely blown away by Bournemouth and Watford who recorded 3-0 and 4-1 victories respectively.
The Blues are in something of a rut, and they will need to dig themselves out of it in their final twelve fixtures if they wish to qualify for the Champions League this season, starting with a victory over the Baggies next week.
In terms of the collective of the club, it was one of the worst weeks of the season, but one man who can still hold his head high is Belgian winger Eden Hazard (valued at £90 million by Transfermarkt), who has recently been awarded the Best Belgian footballer playing abroad award for the year of 2017.
Chelsea recognised his individual achievement via their official Twitter page on Thursday.

In response to the tweet, plenty of Chelsea supporters were eager to congratulate their Belgian winger who beat a handful of quality players such as Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne to the award.
And a handful of others called for their club to offer Hazard a bumper new contract in a bid to stave off interest from rival clubs this summer.
Here’s what the fans had to say about Hazard in response to their club’s Twitter post…
You’re the best Belgian ever bro. Haters gonna hate.
