The Chelsea fans have been feeling bitterly disappointed in the Transfer Tavern since their side lost 2-1 against Manchester United to fall out of the top-four for the first time since early October.

Antonio Conte’s side looked by far the more superior team when they clashed with Jose Mourinho’s Man United last weekend, but they failed to prove their superiority as they slumped to a crushing defeat in Manchester. Chelsea’s defeat has left them in 5th place with just ten fixtures left to play, but the fact they sit just 6 points behind 2nd place United should give the supporters plenty of reason to be optimistic with 30 points still to play for.

However, Chelsea’s U18 side gave the supporters something to smile about last night as they recorded a 6-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage. All six of Chelsea’s goals arrived in the second half, as an own goal, a hat-trick from Taylor Crossdale, and further strikes from Sterling and Hudson-Odoi ensured their qualification to the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup.

The Chelsea supporters paid tribute to the latter for his contribution last night both during the match and in the aftermath of proceedings, as the 17-year-old continues to delight the expectant fans with his performances at youth level.

Considering the level of quality Hudson Odoi has displayed for Chelsea’s youth side on multiple occasions this season, it’s no surprise that the supporters are waxing lyrical about him and hoping that he will be called up to the first-team to replace Pedro in the near future.

Here’s what The Blues faithful have had to say about Hudson Odoi on Twitter…
