Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been responding to comments made by Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, saying that he’d be very happy if Chelsea loanee, Michy Batshuayi, were to stay at Dortmund. The German winger made the comments whilst talking to Bild (via Sky Sports).

Michy Batshuayi has taken to Germany like a duck to water, scoring seven goals in his nine games since leaving Stamford Bridge for the Signal Iduna Park on loan in January. The Belgian forward has helped the Bundesliga club get their season back on track after they crashed out of the Champions League group stages without winning any of their six games against Tottenham, Real Madrid or APOEL.

For a striker like Batshuayi, playing in the current Dortmund team is like a dream with so many creative players around him like Marco Reus, Mario Gotze, Shinji Kagawa, Christian Pulisic and Andre Schurrle. Given the amount of chances created for him, it’s been easy for the former Marseille man to rediscover his goal-scoring touch. So much so that he may want to make his loan stay in Dortmund a permanent one in summer when he returns to Chelsea.
