Spurs were absolutely rampant in midweek as they dispatched League One Rochdale with ease, smashing six past their visitors and leaving a cold Wembley with a big smile on their faces.

Pochettino’s men have once again been playing some excellent stuff this term, and despite coming up short once more in the hunt for the Premier League title, they are edging ever closer to being real challengers, and with a few strong summer additions, could push City further next year.

Our landlord here in the Tavern though thinks that some of the current Spurs squad is living on borrowed time, and he’s been having a chat with the punters over by the bar this week, having some discussions about who could leave in the summer.

One player who never seems to have fitted in for Spurs is midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who since making a big money move from Newcastle, has looked a shadow of the player he appeared to be during his time in the North East.

Sissoko has been a regular member of the squad this term, but the January addition of Lucas Moura pushes him further down the pecking order, while summer signings could well mean his place in the squad is put under further threat.

With Spurs looking to continue to be a challenger at the top of the table, they will need players who can deliver more regularly than Sissoko can, meaning his time with the Londoners could well up come the summer.

Spurs fans, what do you think? Will Sissoko leave? Let us know in the comments!
