The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been buzzing of late.

With Harry Kane back in the goals, the north London locals propping up our bar are dreaming of another title tilt under Mauricio Pochettino, only added to following the recent news that both Erik Lamela and Danny Rose had returned to training with the first-team.

The pair should give Pochettino many more options and, according to the Evening Standard, could be in line for quite the return from lengthy lay-offs. They claim the first North London Derby of the season, on November 18th, could see them feature, much to the delight of our resident Spurs fans.

Though there is reportedly an outside chance they could play before the end of THIS month, a November return is said to be far more likely, with the notion of playing against Real Madrid at Wembley on the first of that month also not out of the realms of possibility.

As you can imagine, this news has gone down very well in our bar.

Landlord’s Verdict:

A huge boost for Tottenham, especially in regards to Lamela. The Argentine gives Spurs a unique attacking option (in their squad) as he’s able to run at pace with the ball from deep.

Thoughts?
