The Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hugely excited about a return to Champions League action tomorrow night.

Indeed, the punters propping up our bar believe Mauricio Pochettino now has a squad capable of performing when mixing in with the European elite after a fairly successful summer transfer window.

Still, that Wembley hoodoo still hangs over the north London side ahead of the visit of German giants Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night. The club are yet to win a Premier League game at their temporary home, having struggled at the home of English football in the Champions League last term.

So, there’s little surprise amongst our drinkers that a former Arsenal star has predicted ‘more struggles’ for Spurs tomorrow night. Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has written his Champions League prediction on their official website, believing Pochettino’s men will draw 2-2 with Dortmund.

To be fair, that’s not too bad a result, though their ‘home’ games will be vitally important, in a group that also contains Real Madrid and APOEL.

”Dortmund are a very difficult side to face with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up front and a strong midfield, but you can get at their defence so there should be some joy for Harry Kane”, says the Scot.

”However, I can see there being more struggles for Spurs and I think they might well have to come from behind to get something from this game.”
