With Harry Kane’s injury proving so scary for the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern, many of them have taken to the bar to dry and calm their nerves over the 23-year-old’s fitness. 

Such is the nature of Kane’s importance to the cause at White Hart Lane, it’s bound to be a huge topic of debate amongst our drinkers, so reports emanating out of Spain have at least taken their minds off of the England international.

Marca claim Spurs are one of a few Premier League sides to retain an interest in Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa, following his exploits over in La Liga. The 27-year-old Spaniard has emerged as one of the most tenacious engine room operators playing in the league, amongst the best in the division for tackles and interceptions made, before starting attacks from deep.

Reportedly in line for a call-up to the national side, the La Roja hopeful is understood to have also attracted interest from the likes of Everton, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. As you can image, the Spurs fans are hoping they land him, having been scouring the net for information on their phones while hauled up in one corner of the bar.
