At the start of this season there was some murmurings amongst the fan base here by the bar that if the club didn’t start well Tony Pulis could be in trouble.

Instead, though, the experienced Premier League boss has really got his team up and at them this season with them currently eighth in the division.

Indeed, after beating Arsenal 3-1 they really do look like a serious side in the league these days and they’ll undoubtedly be looking at improving on this campaign in 2017/18.

To do that, though, they surely need to get some extra players in and, according to The Daily Mail, that appears to be exactly what is going to happen.

According to their report, at least, the Baggies are looking at Milan Skriniar from Sampdoria as he continues to impress in Serie A.

The 22-year-old can also be a holding midfielder and could seriously bring extra quality to an ever-improving West Brom side.
